How can we make a safer safety razor? That’s the question that led to the creation of NickStop Technology. We tested dozens of razors, shaved hundreds of times and listened to our biggest product development team: our customers.
What we came up with was a safety bar equipped with 16 fins to create a smooth shave surface while lifting and guiding your hair to the blade. It prevents your skin from getting trapped between the blade and the bar without sacrificing the close shave you’re looking for. Nicks and cuts decrease while shaving satisfaction increases.

You'll Teach Your Grandkids with this Razor
When we designed and tested the SE, we didn't cut corners. Only hairs. Lots, and lots, and lots of hairs.
The end result? A razor that's built to last a lifetime – carefully engineered from sturdy components which, like fine wine and fine beards, only get better with age.
It’s basically an unstoppable force. But if your SE runs into an immovable object (like your bathroom floor or Chuck Norris) we’ll gladly replace it. And that’s good for life.
These are what drive NickStop™ Technology. They protect your skin while lifting and guiding your hair to the blade. So, your hair is cut clean at the surface, and you’re left with nothing other than smooth skin and confidence in the way you look.
They are precisely spaced along the safety bar. The bar flattens your skin, so the super sharp blade can glide effortlessly as it cuts your hair. There is just enough space between each fin for hair and shaving cream to reach the blade. So, you never have to worry about your skin getting caught in the blade.
Buy it Once, Save for Life
The SE is an investment. But like any good investment, it pays off more and more with time. It’s built to last for life, so you don’t need to replace it every three months, every year or ever.
Invest in your shave today and thank yourself for the rest of your life. And the blades last 4x as long as other razor blades, saving you even more in the long run.
They are designed to cut hair beneath the surface of your skin to get a super close shave. It’s called hysteresis - also known as the “tug and cut” method.
Simply put, the first blade hooks and pulls your hair up, and the following blades continue to cut lower and lower until the hair follicle is cut below your skin line. While this might work in theory, it doesn’t account for the millions of people that suffer from razor burn, bumps and irritation. Take a look below.
We’re Patrick and Jennifer Coddou. We founded Supply almost seven years ago. After Patrick left his job as an engineer with Lockheed Martin, he was ready to build something of his own. He wanted to share his passion for shaving with the world. He started designing and testing prototypes. The result was the first Supply razor: The Single Edge. The strength and quality of that design and (a lot) of Patrick and Jennifer’s own money are what started Supply.
But Patrick knew he could offer more to the thousands of customers who trusted him with their morning shave. He went back to work and two years later produced the final version of the Supply SE. We’re ready to open the door to single edge shaving with the first safety razor for every-body.
